The Wilkes Chamber of Commerce, Excellence in Business Award
NORTH WILKESBORO, January 17, 2019
The Wilkes Chamber of Commerce, Excellence in Business Award, is given to a business that has experienced continued growth and success, as well as financially supported non-profits and the community in the process.
InfusionPoints was granted this award for many reasons. In 2018, InfusionPoints helped pioneer Wilkes County's first year as part of the NC Apprentice Program. Within this program, InfusionPoints has supported two student apprentices. They are gaining knowledge alongside the company’s team, as well as valuable “on the job” training experience in their desired fields, while attending community college classes and working towards their degree. These students worked through the summer in a two-month pre-apprenticeship, that served as a trial for the program. Both apprentices are currently onboard with InfusionPoints.
InfusionPoints financially supports multiple non-profit organizations within the community. Some of the non-profits we support are related to the arts, sports championships for mentally disabled children and adults, and child abuse prevention. InfusionPoints is dedicated to making Wilkes a better place to live, work and play.
“Our success comes from having an awesome team and none of this would be possible without each team member, and I want to thank each of them for their efforts. In five years, we grew our Wilkes County presence from two employees to almost thirty, we transformed an old printing shop into a 7500 Sq. Ft. High Tech CyberSecurity Center, servicing customers around the country,”
Gary G Daemer, CEO, InfusionPoints,
“I see nothing but continued growth, as we expand our service offerings and increase our team depth to enable our customers to do what they do securely, and with peace of mind, by providing the best Build | Test | Defend services.”
Over the years, InfusionPoints has been recognized for their excellence and forward-thinking business practices and it was an honor for the Wilkes Chamber of Commerce to present InfusionPoints CEO and Founder Gary Daemer, with this award. He was accompanied on the night of the award ceremony by several team members from InfusionPoints.
